Normally, 1200 mace makes 1 kilogram. Kinattukara Nutmeg mace need only 400 of them to get 1 kilogram. You can see that, our variety gives triple times profit than others.

Mace flower has a very good demand in the market. They give Rs.150 more than the regular variety of nutmegs.

Seeds grow on each and ever y branch. Since the plants have an unlimited growth, they produce more branches thus increasing the amount of yield. Normal varieties grow only 22 to 30 feet.

Nutmeg doesn’t have any harvesting season. They can be harvested any time when the seeds are fully grown. Kinattukara Nutmeg species can be harvested at least 5 times a year. Other varieties will give only 3 harvests a year. Nutmeg plants can grow in any area. Shade doesn’t affect the growth of the plant. As a result nutmeg plants can grow in between the rubber plants. Since auto tropic branches are more in Kinattukara Nutmegs, branches don’t bend with the weight of the seeds.
