    Planting tips
    Elevation
50 feet to 2000 feet above sea level is suitable for planting nutmegs.
    Method
The size of the pit must be 1 feet in height, depth and width. A mixture containing 5kg cow dung or 5kg wormy compost, 300g bone meal, and 100g neem cake is used as potting mixture. To plant, insert the young plant in the pit and fill the pit with the potting mixture.
To increase the growth of the plant:
Slurry the roots after 6 months of planting
Spray Bordeaux mixture every June or July.
      Water the plants in summer
The plants need 25% shade during the growth
Mulling cow dung with compost will help to avoid horsehair fungus in summer.

Use fungicide to avoid fungus in monsoon.
